《二重否定/Double Negative(ARB)》

Today I learned that double negative does not always mean positive in English. In some dialects like Ebonics, Cockney, double negative functions as an extension of negative.

For example, "Don't say nothing!" is read as "Say something!" in Japanese high school English, although the sentence can be read as "Don't say anything!" in other context. They are completely opposite.

I feel like less motivated to study English when I get to know something unreasonable like this shit. There is just too much to learn. Fuck!
